Did you know that Venturi Eclectic was the first urban electric vehicle in the world?

American movie, Babylon A.D. featured the Venturi Eclectic prototype, specially customized as a police car.

In 2006, Venturi unveiled the world’s first-ever electric urban vehicle at the Paris Motor Show.

In 2008, at the request of French filmmaker, Mathieu Kassovitz, Venturi designed this unique “Police” version, which appears in the American post-apocalyptic movie Babylon A.D. alongside Vin Diesel, Lambert Wilson and Mélanie Thierry.

Venturi Automobiles has a rich history. The year 2020 marked its twentieth anniversary under the leadership of its President, Gildo Pastor. The Monégasque company develops innovation and excellence in high-performance electric vehicles. From the first GT to the first polar exploration vehicle, Venturi has led the way in the field of electromobility.

Being a pioneer with its solar panels, Venturi Eclectic is effectively a renewable energy generation and storage plant in the form of a city car. It can also be recharged via a household power socket.
