Natalia Bobrova – Inspired and Inspiring
Citizen of the world, Natalia Bobrova graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles, USA, and worked in fashion for many years before launching her iconic LNB Jewellery brand.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Natalia Bobrova became a globetrotter in pursuit of knowledge of craftsmanship and inspiration.
โNowadays, I am based in Geneva, Switzerland, but before Geneva, I had quite an extensive geography. I lived in Los Angeles, London, Amsterdam and Kiev.โ
Natalia graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and worked in fashion for many years with brands such as Burberry, Pinko and Stockmann.ย

Her main speciality was brand management, which helped Natalia learn marketing, PR, buying, retail and many other skills that she now uses in building her own brand.
What sparked your interest in establishing the LNB Jewellery brand?
โHaving worked in pret-a-porte for luxury brands, I was always interested in jewellery.
I think that jewellery choices speak most about the personality and current mood of a woman. I was always fascinated by this. And I wanted to have my own vision of what modern jewellery should be.โ
What is the source of your creative inspiration?
โMy sources of creativity are beautiful women and the modern environment. I wanted to turn classic jewellery into contemporary jewellery, which allows a woman to be playful and express herself in a variety of ways.
My brand is not about classic traditions; it is about the modern world and its ever-changing beauty, fast-paced environment, in which a woman feels comfortable and free.โ
Natalia keeps herself updated by blending with the modern world and travelling. Her recent favourite destination is Phangan Island in Thailand.
She loves to observe people and seeks inspiration by watching social media such as Tik Tok and Instagram.
โFuture trends are in the air. As a former fashion buyer, I am used to successfully guessing future trends. This is still very exciting for me.โ

Being a successful fashion or jewellery designer is a dream goal for many ladies. Can you tell us more about the challenges to establish a jewellery brand?
โTo start my own brand was the most challenging project in my career,โ – starts Natalia. – โWhile working for big brands like Burberry, you have all the resources available for you.
Compared to this, in your own brand, you will need to know all aspects of brand building to achieve success.
Not to mention that you will need to work twice as hard, especially at the beginning. But things worked out well for me.โ
Natalia is a great example that following your dreams, combined with persistence, hard work, and commitment, can work out.
After six months of launching the LNB Jewellery brand, Natalia was able to showcase her jewellery at New York Fashion Week.
This opportunity was followed by a showcase at the Cannes Festival, after which she signed a brand distribution contract with a private aviation company.

What materials and techniques are you most skilled and experienced in when it comes to jewellery making?
โI love colours and my inspiration is Mediterranean. That is why I use semi-precious stones like opal, agate, amethyst, citrine and others. It allows me to create unique combinations, and each item is absolutely different, as gems are never the same.
When I start a new collection, I first think of what it should be about, what message I would like to convey with it.โ
Your Spring 2024 collection is called โsugar loavesโ, featuring unpolished semi-precious gems. What is the message behind this inspiration?
โThe message of the collection is that beauty can come in different ways and forms. Sometimes the natural way of things is as precious as polished glamour.
I source gems through my suppliers, and the first samples of collection I do myself. Then these samples are given to production, press, and sent to celebrities.โ
Which one of your favourite items from this collection?
โMy favourite item from the LNB Spring 2024 collection is the sugar loaf choker in mint green gems with accenting bright yellow cat eye.
In my opinion, bright-coloured gems in unique designs can make a woman stand out in the crowd, be visible, and show her personality. Opposite to jewellery, which is just a sign of wealth.โ
How so?
โCreativity is unique, where wealth can be common. Often my jewellery is a point of starting a conversation when people inquire about what exactly that woman is wearing.
For me, creativity is the key. A brand needs to be different, at the same time following its own DNA.
LNB Jewelleryโs first collection, which was presented at New York Fashion Week in September 2021, had a nano-material coating. It allowed us to create bright colour variations and couture looks.โ
What is the new trend for 2024?
โThe new big trend for Spring 2024 is layering 3-4 necklaces. The trend now is to mix three types of golds (yellow, white, and rose) to create a young vibe.
Personally, for the city environment, I prefer necklaces with semi-precious gems, while for holidays at the beach it can be plastic beads or shells.โ

As a creator, do you have a muse?
โEva Green is a beautiful woman, one of my inspirations. She is the quintessence of French style, daring to be different and unique.
Eva selected LNB Jewellery earrings with agate and citrine for her cover shoot for LโOfficiel Lichtenstein, looking amazing.โ
After New York, Paris and Dubai, Natalia turns her attention towards the Principality of Monaco. Tell us more about your ambitions.
โMonaco is a special place of elegance, luxury, and classy people. Women of the Principality do a great job of taking care of their families while remaining successful and independent.
LNB Jewellery will help them express themselves in their personalised design, be creative, and different.โ
LNB Jewellery stands for women who like classic elegance yet dare to be different. Natalieโs collection is already recognised by quintessential luxury brands too.

The pinnacle of the luxury automotive industry, Rolls-Royce, selected LNB Jewellery for the presentation of their Rolls-Royce Phantom cars. This collaboration shows the level of the LNB Jewellery brand.ย
โFor years, I was working in the luxury segment of fashion, so for me, everything is about detail.
From material to packaging, from brand representatives to points of sales. I think it has already become my natural way. For me, it is important to have high standards in everything.โ
Unlike many brands that focus on diamonds only, Natalia uses a great range of materials.
โThe choice of materials depends on the new collection idea. It can be handmade embroidery embellished with semi-precious stones or just creative forms of gold.
I want every woman to have an extensive choice of materials and styles she can express herself with, depending on how she feels on that particular day. My design portfolio is very wide.
I used ceramics in one of my collections, but my love stays with semi-precious stones. They are creations of nature. In terms of gold, I do not have any preferences.โ

One of Natalieโs latest collections was for a multi-brand luxury store in Dubai.
They expressed the desire to have a unique collection with large coral roses to match evening dresses by David Koma and other exclusive designers. This collection was a success among boutique clientele.
Behind the success, one can also find Natalie, the natural multitasker working mom juggling the brand and two children.
โIn tight deadlines, I prefer to temporarily sacrifice my sleeping schedule,โ – laughs Natalie. โI often have requests for custom collections.
However, being the only creator and owner of the brand gives me freedom and, at the same time, high responsibility. This mix keeps me going for the third year, trying to push higher goals and standards along the road of brand development.โ
The Principality of Monaco has a wonderful and diverse community where women are not shy to express themselves with the latest luxury fashion trends.
Hopefully, the breathtaking creations of Natalia Bobrova will be part of the essential dress code of Monaco.
