Tony Parker at Sunset

Tony Parker visited Sunset Monaco

While the Monaco Grand Prix takes over the Principality which vibrates to the rhythm of the F1 races, Sunset takes over the Méridien Beach Plaza for three days of celebration with guests, such as the former NBA player, Tony Parker.

In 2024, Sunset is back from May 24 to 26, for an 11th edition which promises to be even more exceptional, on the famous Méridien Beach Plaza. Associated since 2013, these two Monegasque entrepreneurs have chosen to bring the concept of Sunset to life outside of Monaco, and in particular in Miami.

Sunset is renowned for being the meeting place for celebrities and big names in international sport. Among them, we find in particular: Justin Bieber, Bob Sinclar, Jason Derulo, Bella Hadid, driving aces such as Max Verstappen, Nico Rosberg, Pierre Gasly, as well as tennis figures like Matteo Berrettini, without forgetting Lando Norris, Jasmin Tookes, Adrien Brody, Nico Hulkenberg, Jenson Button, André Villas-Boas, Daniel Ricciardo or Charles Leclerc.

Parker started his career at Paris Basket Racing in the French basketball league before joining the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Spurs with the 28th overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft, and quickly became their starting point guard. Parker won four NBA championships (2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014), all of which were with the Spurs. He retired as the ninth leading scorer and fifth leading passer in NBA playoffs history.

Sunset is the place to be

While the Monaco Grand Prix takes over the Principality which vibrates to the rhythm of the F1 races, Sunset takes over the Méridien Beach Plaza for three days of celebration. The choice of this hotel, with its feet in the water, is not due to chance. The organizers have selected an ideal location, facing the Big Blue, accessible by tender, and where you can arrive just after qualifying and immediately after the F1 race.

The perfect alliance between a festival and a beach party, since 2013, Sunset has been the place where Monegasques and the international jet-set meet, from noon to midnight. Far from the sometimes stuffy atmospheres of GP evenings, Sunset stands out as a unique space where you feel comfortable and where you come to be part of a community. Everyone brings their own personality, without fearing the judgment of others, but only to party.

With their feet in the sand, a drink in their hand and the Mediterranean as a backdrop, to the rhythm of the sets of the guest DJs, the participants let themselves be carried away… They take advantage of the present moment and share the same desire to savor each moment in an atmosphere that is both chic and bohemian, and without artifice. On the decks, around ten artists from the underground scene – some at the peak of their careers and others in the making – take turns, while different happenings complete the Made in Sunset experience. A Nirvana for the senses…

To meet all the expectations of its community, and continue to surprise its guests, Sunset will unveil an exhibition of several masterful works by the great Richard Orlinski.

And that’s not all… To further enhance the experience on the beach at the Méridien Beach Plaza, in 2024 Sunset is reinventing itself with the creation of a new space, called Casa Sunset. This new place takes over the restaurant Muse Monte-Carlo which is transformed for the occasion into a festive restaurant where South American flavors will share the spotlight with the eclectic playlists of the programmed DJs, ranging from electro to Deep House, including different international musical influences. And all this, located by the pool at the Méridien Beach Plaza, just a few meters from the main Sunset stage!
