Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation award ceremony – Announcement of winners
The winners of the 2024 Prince Pierre Foundation prizes were announced on 8 October at the award ceremony held at Monte-Carlo’s Opera Garnier in the presence of President H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover and hosted by Arnaud Merlin, journalist for France Musique.
The winners were:
For literature:
– The Literary Prize: Mathieu Belezi for his entire body of work;
– The Discovery Grant: Mokhtar Amoudi for his first novel, Les conditions idéales;
– The High School Pupils’ Favourite Choice: Cécile Tlili for her first novel, Un simple dîner.
For music:
– Musical Composition Prize: Hans Abrahamsen for his entire body of work;
– The Young Musicians Favourite Choice: Paul Novak for his work Prisms and mirrors;
For philosophy:
– The Principality Prize, awarded jointly by Philosophical Encounters of Monaco and the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation, was presented to Souleymane Bachir Diagne for his entire body of work.
