Entrance examination for the practicum for the purpose of practising the profession of lawyer
The Department of Justice would like to inform the public that the entrance examination for the practicum for the purpose of practising the profession of lawyer, as provided by Article 3 of Act no. 1.047 of 28 July 1982 concerning the practice of the professions of an avocat-défenseur and a lawyer, amended by Articles 3 et seq of Sovereign Ordinance No. 8.089 of 17 September 1984 implementing the aforementioned Act, amended, will be held at the Palais de Justice on Wednesday 13 November 2024 (written tests) and on Wednesday 4 December 2024 (oral tests).
Individuals who meet the legal requirements and would like to take this examination are asked to contact the General Secretariat of the Department of Justice (5 rue Colonel Bellando de Castro, MC 98000 Monaco) before Monday 4 November 2024.
Submitted applications must include the following supporting documents:
- A copy of the applicant’s Monegasque identity card
- A copy of the applicant’s criminal record issued within the last three months
- A copy of the applicant’s degree in law from a French law faculty, attesting to four years of post-secondary study (or equivalent); or a certificate of attendance and achievement for an equivalent programme, recognised as such by the commission, composed in accordance with Article 2 of the aforementioned Act No. 1.047 of 28 July 1982
