The inauguration of Mareterra

On Wednesday, December 4, Mareterra will be inaugurated by H.S.H Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, accompanied by Their children and members of the Princely Family.

At the end of the day, a festive moment for all the partners, workers, craftsmen, architects, who contributed to the creation of this new eco-district, will allow them to meet one last time to celebrate the end of this successful collaboration and the accomplishment of this extraordinary project.

Concerts, drone shows and pyrotechnics will punctuate this evening.

If the event is reserved for the main actors of the project, Monegasques, residents and visitors will be able to appreciate the ballet from the Principality. An attraction, like Mareterra, ecologically responsible since:

• the fireworks barges will be dynamically positioned which avoids any anchoring. They will be located well beyond the protected marine areas and positioned so that the rockets do not fall back into sensitive areas
• the rockets used come from Europe and are plastic-free (biodegradable cardboard), aluminum-free and chlorine-free
• a cleaning of the area is planned by a specialized company that will be able to recover any waste so that it can be reconditioned or recycled.

The festivities will give way to the public who will have the pleasure of discovering this new eco-district from December 5.
