Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

Ghost Series II made its grand debut in Monte-Carlo

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars proudly presents Ghost Series II, a powerful, driver-orientated, and elegant rendition of the most popular Rolls-Royce nameplate in history. In response to client requests, the subtle evolution of Ghostโ€™s monolithic and self-assured external appearance serves as a potent stage for Bespoke commissions.

Ghost Series II made its grand debut last night in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, at the prestigious Hotel Hermitage. This exclusive preview event offered VIP guests and esteemed clients the opportunity to experience the most technologically advanced and driver-focused V12 Rolls-Royce ever created. Under the glow of the Monte-Carlo skyline, the new iteration of Ghost Series II was revealed in a setting that exuded sophistication and luxuryโ€”echoing the spirit of the motor car itself.

DESIGN AND ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE

Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, remarked:

โ€œGhost is renowned as a uniquely expressive, agile, and self-assured representation of the Rolls-Royce brand. At our clientsโ€™ request, this new Series II iteration remains faithful to these principles, incorporating a potent and uncompromising engine and the essential potential for Bespoke. Meaningful exterior and material updates make an even more expressive and impactful statement. This new generation of Ghost also has extraordinary handling capabilities based on a number of advanced chassis innovations. This secures Ghost Series IIโ€™s status as the most technologically advanced and driver-focused V12 Rolls-Royce ever createdโ€”a side of Ghostโ€™s character that our clients increasingly and enthusiastically embrace.โ€

Juliane Blasi, Head of Exterior Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, added:

โ€œGhost Series II represents the fundamental tenets of Rolls-Royceโ€”serenity, effortlessness, and eleganceโ€”distilled into an expressive, monolithic form. Our clients asked for a design that would provide a stage for their Bespoke colour and material choices, whether quiet and restrained or bold and expressive. In line with their requirements, Ghost Series II is characterised by meaningful refinements that further enhance the motor carโ€™s standing as a potent canvas for creativity.โ€

At the Monte-Carlo unveiling, guests were able to witness firsthand the new exterior refinements, from the illuminated Rolls-Royce Pantheon grille to the updated headlight and daytime running light graphics. The event underscored how Ghost Series II perfectly blends contemporary luxury with advanced engineering.

UNMATCHED INTERIOR AND TECHNOLOGY

Inside, Ghost Series II showcases the pinnacle of craftsmanship, both analogue and digital. The advanced SPIRIT operating system, housed in the Central Information Display, now extends Bespoke commissions into the digital realm, allowing clients to tailor the digital instrument dials to complement their chosen interior palette. The enhanced rear-seat entertainment system, upgraded Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetoothยฎ headphone compatibility ensure a state-of-the-art connectivity experience.

The highlight of the Monte-Carlo event was the unveiling of the Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet, an exquisite detail housing a polished stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy figurine set against a meticulously crafted backdrop. The fusion of advanced technology and artisanal luxury set a new benchmark for automotive interior design.

ENGINEERING FOR EFFORTLESS POWER

At the heart of Ghost Series II lies its 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine, delivering an unparalleled driving experience with maximum torque available from just 1,600 rpm. This is complemented by the renowned Planar Suspension System, Flagbearer System, and Satellite Aided Transmission, ensuring an effortlessly smooth ride. The unveiling in Monte-Carlo showcased the modelโ€™s dynamic capabilities, reinforcing its position as the ultimate grand tourer.

GHOST EXTENDED SERIES II: EVEN GREATER LUXURY

For those seeking additional rear-seat indulgence, Ghost Extended Series II offers an additional 170mm of space, with Serenity Seating options inspired by private aircraft cabins. The inclusion of a bespoke Champagne coolerโ€”developed in consultation with a Master Sommelierโ€”further elevates the experience. Guests at the Hotel Hermitage preview were given the first glimpse of these refinements, reaffirming Rolls-Royceโ€™s commitment to meeting the desires of its most discerning clientele.

THE FUTURE OF BESPOKE

Since its introduction in 2009, Ghost has epitomized the spirit of Rolls-Royceโ€™s Goodwood era. The Monte-Carlo premiere marked the beginning of a new chapter in this legacy, celebrating the growing demand for Bespoke personalization. Rolls-Royce continues to expand its global network of Private Offices, ensuring that clients worldwide can collaborate with designers and specialists to bring their visions to life.

The unveiling of Ghost Series II at the Hotel Hermitage was a testament to Rolls-Royceโ€™s enduring commitment to crafting motor cars that are not just vehicles, but expressions of personal identity and unmatched luxury. With its refined design, cutting-edge technology, and effortless power, Ghost Series II is set to redefine the standard for modern super-luxury driving.
