The Gathering of the Greatest Michelin-Starred Chefs Returns
The Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo is making its grand return on April 10, 2025. For the past five years, this annual event has established itself as the must-attend gastronomic rendezvous in the Principality of Monaco.
After last year’s edition celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Wine Cellars of Hôtel de Paris, this fifth anniversary of the festival—serving as the theme of this edition—will once again feature exceptional four-hands dinners. On this occasion, the Michelin-starred chefs of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group will host some of the most renowned names in French and international gastronomy, culminating in the traditional seven-Michelin-star gala dinner.
An Exclusive Gathering of the Finest Chefs in Monte-Carlo
As Europe’s most Michelin-starred resort with seven stars in the Michelin Guide, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer remains one of the most iconic groups in the world of haute cuisine and the art of fine living. With 162 years of history and more than 30 restaurants and bars, the group honors the immense talent of its chefs through this unique annual event for gourmet enthusiasts: Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo.
The festival will officially open on April 10 at Le Grill, at the top of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. The executive chef of this prestigious palace and its iconic Grill, Dominique Lory, will host the legendary Pierre Gagnaire. Twenty-five years ago, Dominique Lory worked alongside Pierre Gagnaire, a pivotal experience in his career, making this reunion a moment of great joy. Moreover, Dominique Lory and Thierry Méchinaud, head chef of Pierre Gagnaire’s three-star restaurant in Paris, hail from the same village, and Thierry will also be present for this exceptional dinner.
On June 20, the second event will take place at Louis XV – Alain Ducasse at Hôtel de Paris*, where Alain Ducasse, the most Michelin-starred chef in the world, will welcome Spanish chef Albert Adrià alongside Emmanuel Pilon. A visionary at the famous elBulli (Roses) with his brother Ferran Adrià, Albert Adrià now leads Enigma (Barcelona), a Michelin-starred restaurant. The two great chefs reunite after their successful collaboration on the ADMO pop-up restaurant project in Paris (2021-2022).
On July 13, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo will host the third duo. Multi-starred chef Yannick Alléno will welcome Italian chef Davide Oldani to his Pavyllon Monte-Carlo. A two-starred chef from Milan’s province, Oldani is a key figure in his generation and the creator of “Cucina Pop,” blending simple ingredients with refined flavors and textures. The two friends promise a dinner filled with conviviality and surprises.
Finally, on July 18, the Blue Bay Marcel Ravin, the two-star restaurant at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, will host another spectacular duo. Two-starred chef Marcel Ravin has invited Anne-Sophie Pic, the most Michelin-starred female chef in the world, to share her delicate and bold cuisine. Known for her three-star restaurant Pic (Valence, France), Anne-Sophie Pic and Marcel Ravin will unite for the first time for an extraordinary dinner, worthy of Les Grandes Tables du Monde.
As always, the fifth edition of the Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo will close with a grand gala dinner in the fall of 2025, hosted in one of the prestigious venues of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer.
