Immersive NASA experience for FANB students as part of “EARTH to SPACE” festival
As part of the “EARTH to SPACE: Arts Breaking the Sky” festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., some 70 upper secondary students from the Institution FANB had the opportunity to take part in a special virtual session with Dorian Janney, an education specialist at NASA, on Monday 31 March 2025.
The session, which was made possible thanks to the partnership between H.E. the Ambassador of Monaco to the United States and Canada and the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, highlights the Principality’s commitment to science education and international cooperation.

This unique educational session gave the students a chance to learn more about NASA’s Earth observation missions, while emphasising the importance of scientific cooperation and cultural diplomacy in space exploration and the conservation of our planet.
The partnership between Monaco’s Embassy to the United States and Canada and the Department of Education, Youth and Sport is evidence of the shared determination to offer opportunities for young people and an innovative approach to scientific practices.
