One Michelin Star for Elsa
Elsa, the gastronomic restaurant at Monte-Carlo Beach, received one Michelin star, a year after Chef Marcel Ravin and Chef Domenico D’Antonio took over the restaurant. Once again, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer shined in the world of gastronomy at the Michelin Guide France 2025 Ceremony, held on Monday, March 31, in Metz.
Nestled within Monte-Carlo Beach, Elsa is a gem of Riviera gastronomy. Inspired by the elegance of the 1930s, its atmosphere reflects the Mediterranean art of living. The dining room immerses guests in a marine-inspired ambiance, with azure tones delicately echoing the coastline. Its spacious terrace offers an unparalleled sensory experience, where guests dine to the sound of the waves and the caress of the sea breeze.

This Michelin star is a milestone achievement for Chef Marcel Ravin, Chef Domenico D’Antonio, and the Monte-Carlo Beach team, just a year after Chef Ravin introduced his innovative “marine garden” concept at Elsa.
“I am very happy and honored by this recognition, which I owe to my passionate team, especially Domenico. Elsa has always attracted and inspired me. I sincerely thank our President Stéphane Valeri, our General Director Albert Manzone, and René Blino, Director of Monte-Carlo Beach, for their trust and for allowing me to embark on this incredible culinary journey.” – Marcel Ravin

Hailing from Martinique, Chef Marcel Ravin—who now holds three Michelin stars—has a deep respect for seafood and maritime culture. Elsa’s menu celebrates the fusion of land and sea, featuring bold creations such as:
- Piedmont pigeon with morels, squid ink, bagna cauda sauce, and herbaceous ravioli
- Rockfish cooked on stone, served with a consommé made from roasted fish heads
- Floating island cracker, prepared with sea lettuce, spirulina, and frozen Menton lemon
From steam cooking with seawater to marine-infused vegetable broths, every element reflects a sustainable and ethical culinary philosophy.
