Mercy Ships Gala raises over €800,000
On the evening of June 14, the historic Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris opened its doors for the annual Mercy Ships Gala, organized by long-standing Mercy Ships ambassador Roland Brautigam. Thanks to his leadership and vision, the gala has become one of Monaco’s most meaningful philanthropic events, bringing together an international community committed to saving lives in Africa.

The evening began at 7:00 PM with vibrant performances by African dancers, live jazz music, and the dynamic Les Femmes show, setting an energetic tone. Guests were then treated to a runway fashion show, featuring both male and female collections from Della Piane and CISELES, showcasing modern luxury and bold creativity.

A three-course dinner followed in a refined atmosphere, enhanced by live entertainment including a performance by the spectacular French Twins. Throughout the evening, representatives from Mercy Ships shared powerful messages about the organization’s work delivering free surgical care across Africa.

The gala continued with silent and live auctions, offering exclusive items and experiences. A special paddle auction invited direct contributions to fund critical surgeries such as cleft lip repair, tumor removal, and cataract operations.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, the gala successfully raised over €800,000 to support Mercy Ships’ mission.
