The Magic of Christmas Arrives in Monte-Carlo
The Casino Square Illumination Ceremony launches the End-of-Year Festivities of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer.
This Saturday, 29 November, T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, accompanied by their children, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, were welcomed on Casino Square by Stéphane Valeri, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, H.E. the Minister of State, Christophe Mirmand, and his wife, for the Casino Square illumination ceremony.

The 2025 end-of-year festivities were thus officially launched amid the enchantment of a light show set to Christmas melodies. “La Magie de Noël Monte-Carlo” has taken over the historical heart of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and can be discovered throughout the entire Resort until 6 January 2026.
“La Magie de Noël Monte-Carlo” lit up Casino Square this Saturday, 29 November. Once night had fallen, at 6.20 p.m., under the gaze of their parents, T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, and of passers-by, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella brought to life, within seconds, a true fairy-tale spectacle of light. First, the monumental Christmas tree lit up with its 6,000 tiny lights, followed by the five giant snow globes revealing their new décor, before all eyes turned in wonder towards the façade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, unveiled in turn through an enchanting show of light and music. The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer end-of-year festivities were well and truly underway.

The Princely Family was then able to discover, as a preview, the five giant snow globes now adorning Casino Square, imagined as musical boxes around the theme “La Magie de Noël Monte-Carlo”: the Enchanted Ballet, the Christmas Choir, the Reindeer Tea Party, the Christmas Sky, and Midnight. Five scenes telling, within each globe, the adventures of five little reindeer — Flocon, Rose, Hercule, Stella, and Rudolph, Santa’s loyal friend.

Children and adults alike are invited to experience the full magic of a Monte-Carlo Christmas throughout the Resort until 6 January 2026. The Reindeer Show, a sound and light display, is projected onto the façade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo on December weekends every thirty minutes between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., then every day during the school holidays. Not to be missed either: the new children’s Christmas events at New Moods on 21 December — The Christmas Dream (ages 3–7) and the Christmas Dance Party (ages 8–12). For adults, discover the brand-new Casino Café de Paris Advent Calendar from 1 December, where each member of the My Monte-Carlo loyalty programme can try to win one of the superb prizes on offer. And of course, the Christmas pop-ups, festive menus, and delicious seasonal treats for the whole family!
