Social Security Fund for the Self-Employed
The Social Security Fund for the Self-Employed, known as Caisse d’Assurance Maladie, Accident et Maternité des Travailleurs Indépendants is compulsory for anyone authorized to carry out an artisanal, industrial, commercial or professional activity in the Principality.
It is financed by a flat-rate contribution for each calendar month and payable quarterly in advance.
Other eligible people can benefit from the fund on the condition that they do not qualify for another scheme and are residing in Monaco or France, as can retirees from Monégasque or French schemes for self-employed workers residing in the Principality.
