You can also get a great impression of the country, the events, the people, and the whole atmosphere. If you are smart enough, you can discover many social clubs and networking places. Furthermore, you can already build up some valuable connections by the end of the third month.

Many visitors use this initial three-month period to see how they can adjust their daily routines to the new life offered by Monaco. After three months, they need to make a decision whether to stay longer or not, since the Principality of Monaco requires a residence permit (Carte de Sejour or often referred as Carte de Residence) if one is willing to extend their stay for a longer period.
Resident permits are not issued to minors under the age of 16. In some cases, a travel document for a foreign minor may be issued to enable overseas travel.
If you leave Monaco permanently, you must surrender your residence permit.
