15th meeting of the Committee for Graduate Employment - Supporting young people: progress made and next steps

The Committee for Graduate Employment has held its 15th annual meeting to review the progress made so far and set out the measures that will be taken in the future.

The Committee reported positive results for 2024/25, with concrete measures introduced to help young graduates make the transition from education to employment, and new projects unveiled for 2025/26.

Improved support for graduates

The Committee indicated that its efforts to assist graduates in Monaco had delivered positive results.

In 2024, 183 young people received some form of guidance or support, of whom 98 successfully found employment. There are now 269 partner businesses in the Committee’s network.

Major actions over the past year included:

51 events, including a new Young People’s Zone at the Employment Forum
CV workshops, mock interviews, and a practical guide to applying for jobs
round table debates in high schools, with 82 professionals and 518 pupils taking part
preparation for civil service entrance exams

In 2025, the Committee is preparing to:

launch a new alumni network
reach out to a wider audience, including all young people with some connection to Monaco
develop an online platform with a CV database
publish a newsletter aimed at businesses

Christophe Robino, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, emphasised that “helping young people enter the workforce is a priority for the Prince’s Government. Thanks to the outstanding work of the Committee for Graduate Employment, we are strengthening personalised support in close collaboration with our public and private partners. This encouraging report reflects our shared commitment to opening up real opportunities for young people in the Principality.”
