Blue Wake™ Awards 2025
Blue Wake™ Awards 2025 winners recognised for their sustainable solutions in yachting.
The Monaco Yacht Show announces the 5 winners of the Blue Wake™ Awards 2025, unveiled during last night’s Grand Opening Night at Le Méridien Beach Plaza in Monaco.
The ceremony welcomed 400 guests, including Monaco officials, exhibitors from the Blue Wake programme, leading sponsors, private clients, and key figures from the yachting industry.
Four companies and a yacht on exhibit at this year’s MYS were recognised for their commitment to developing credible, high-impact sustainable solutions in the superyacht sector, celebrating initiatives that drive meaningful progress across yacht design, engineering, and the on-board experience.
Developed with the support of the Water Revolution Foundation, the Blue Wake Awards form a cornerstone of the Blue Wake programme and reflect MYS’s ongoing commitment to accelerating environmental responsibility in yachting.
“With the Blue Wake Awards, we are sending a clear message: environmental sustainability is not a side topic — it’s becoming central to innovation in yachting. These winners demonstrate how credible, high-impact solutions are already shaping the industry’s future. We also extend our sincere thanks to the members of the jury for their expertise and dedicated time in evaluating and supporting the voting process. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding contributions to a more eco-sustainable yachting industry.” – Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show
The nominees were selected through a rigorous process overseen by the Water Revolution Foundation. Submissions were evaluated across four environmental focus areas, with claims supported by data and, where possible, third-party verification. Solutions meeting the threshold were shortlisted, and the jury voted to select the winners, ensuring that only credible, high-impact innovations advancing sustainability were recognised.

The 2025 Blue Wake™ Award winners are:
TYKUN – TENDERS / WATER TOYS
TYKUN received recognition for its H1 hydrogen propulsion system, designed in Italy and ready for production. The system offers high performance with reduced environmental impact, combining efficiency, innovation, and extensive design customisation, underscoring TYKUN’s dedication to sustainable maritime technology.
TAI PING – LUXURY PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Tai Ping was recognised for its Biophilic Programme, a collection of rugs made from undyed, biodegradable fibres such as wool, silk, flax, and jute. By eliminating the dyeing process, it reduces water use by 60% and energy by 85%, while lowering carbon emissions. With a natural latex backing meeting safety standards, the programme offers a durable, eco-friendly alternative to synthetic materials, in line with Blue Wake’s sustainability criteria.
DEASYL – NAUTICAL SUPPLIER
Deasyl earned distinction for its Sustainable Yachting Fuel, a next-generation alternative to traditional marine fuels. Produced through low-energy, green chemistry processes, the fuel cuts CO₂ emissions by up to 93%, advancing decarbonisation in the yachting sector and reflecting Deasyl’s commitment to sustainability, waste valorisation, and responsible innovation.
SANLORENZO – REFIT / BUILDER SHIPYARD
Sanlorenzo was honoured for introducing the world’s first superyacht with Reformer Fuel Cell systems in partnership with Siemens Energy. Using hydrogen from green methanol, the system provides up to 100 kW of emission-free electricity at anchor, reducing overall annual emissions by 20–30% and reinforcing Sanlorenzo’s commitment to sustainable yachting innovation.
REDUCE (CATAMARAN BY SILVER YACHTS)
The Special Jury Award was granted to Silver Yachts’ catamaran Reduce for its innovative, low-impact design. Built entirely in aluminium for recyclability, the multi-hull layout and low-resistance hull by Espen Oeino International deliver exceptional fuel efficiency and extended range. The award highlights out-of-the-box thinking that prioritises minimal environmental impact through optimised design, operational efficiency, and the use of recycled, recyclable, or regenerative materials, encouraging the yachting sector to align more closely with nature.
