New Crisoni Showroom: The Art of Elegance, Made in Monaco

In Monaco, where timeless sophistication meets an international lifestyle, CRISONI has established itself as a distinctly Monegasque expression of elegance. Founded by Andreas Allenbach, the house combines ready-to-wear, bespoke tailoring, accessories and leather goods with a deeply personal approach to service.

Elegance is often found in the details: the cut of a jacket, the fall of a fabric, the precision of a button, the choice of colour, or simply the way a garment makes its wearer feel.

For CRISONI, however, elegance is more than an aesthetic. It is an identity.

The Monaco-based fashion house was created by Andreas Allenbach, a Swiss-born entrepreneur whose career in textiles and fashion has taken him across numerous markets and countries. After more than two decades in the industry, he chose Monaco as the place in which to establish his own brand – a decision inspired by the Principality's sunshine, tranquillity and, above all, its distinctive sense of elegance.

Today, CRISONI offers a wardrobe designed around the lives of its clients, from sophisticated everyday clothing to formal attire, wedding outfits and fully bespoke creations.

From Switzerland to Monaco

Born in Zurich, Andreas Allenbach developed an interest in fashion remarkably early. At just 13, he was already fascinated by clothing and the world of fashion, despite his parents initially imagining a more traditional career for him in banking or the notarial profession.

Following an apprenticeship that did not prove particularly successful with a notary, his family eventually agreed that he could undertake a one-week placement in a clothing shop.

That week changed the direction of his life.

Allenbach subsequently completed three years of professional training, dividing his time between Zurich and Lausanne. By the age of 21, he had become the youngest store manager in his career environment. At 26, he was purchasing for 33 stores and travelling extensively abroad.

At 30, he established his own commercial agency, representing major brands and introducing them to retailers and concept stores in numerous countries. The experience gave him an extensive understanding of the textile industry, as well as a detailed knowledge of the expectations and characteristics of different international markets.

Yet one destination continued to attract him.

Monaco.

After 25 years of professional experience, Allenbach finally settled in the Principality, initially opening a multi-brand boutique before creating his own label, CRISONI – a name formed from the names of his children, Cristina, Sophia and Nico.

The brand quickly developed a following in Monaco. What began with a boutique on rue Princesse Caroline expanded to include a second retail space, an atelier on rue Grimaldi and, most recently, a sophisticated showroom and atelier at Park Palace in the heart of the Carré d'Or.

Elegance for every occasion

CRISONI's philosophy is based on an uncomplicated idea: elegance should be possible in every circumstance.

The house offers timeless ready-to-wear collections characterised by restrained colours, quality materials and classic cuts. For those looking for something more personal, bespoke tailoring takes the concept further.

A CRISONI client may commission a tailored suit, jacket, coat or dress, but also shoes, bags and a wide range of accessories. Personalisation can extend to cuts, sizes, colours and finishing details, including embroidered initials and contrasting motifs or colours.

The result is a wardrobe created around the individual rather than the other way around.

The house caters to both men and women and to a wide spectrum of occasions. Its collections can provide an elegant, relaxed everyday look – from blazers and shirts to loafers – as well as clothing for balls, baptisms and other formal celebrations.

Weddings are another important area of expertise, with CRISONI creating bridal gowns and outfits for other members of the wedding party.

There is also a strong corporate dimension to the business. The house has produced uniforms for Société des Bains de Mer, including for casino croupiers, valets and members of the Cigare Club. Its corporate clients and commissions have also included the Police Nationale, Automobile Club de Monaco, the Monaco rugby federation and Monaco's official Olympic delegation for Tokyo and Paris. The dossier also notes commissions connected with the Palais.

Different addresses, different experiences

CRISONI's presence in Monaco combines intimate boutique retail with a dedicated bespoke environment.

On rue Princesse Caroline, the men's and women's boutiques face one another at numbers 10 and 11.

The men's boutique offers shirts, jackets, trousers and accessories suitable for everyday life, special occasions or gifts. Across the street, the women's boutique presents a selection of timeless and iconic pieces, including fitted blouses, beautifully cut blazers, cocktail dresses and accessories.

The atmosphere is deliberately personal and discreet. The women's boutique even includes a small salon where clients can enjoy refreshments while discovering the latest collection with Andreas Allenbach himself.

For bespoke creations, clients can visit the CRISONI showroom and atelier at Park Palace, at 27 avenue de la Costa in the Carré d'Or.

This space represents perhaps the clearest expression of the CRISONI philosophy. Part showroom, part atelier, it is dedicated to made-to-measure clothing as well as fashion-related events.

Here, clients can explore fabrics and materials before working with the house to create something specifically for them. A tailored suit, a blazer, a cashmere coat, sportswear, a wedding dress or a wedding suit can all begin with the same process: a conversation, a sketch and the careful work of an experienced atelier.

The range extends beyond clothing to belts, scarves, pocket squares, ties, jewellery, bags, gloves and other accessories.

The Park Palace space is also designed to host private events, pop-ups and presentations by visiting designers, allowing clients to discover collections and fashion shows in an intimate setting.

A truly international clientele

Monaco's international character is naturally reflected in CRISONI's clientele.

The team speaks numerous languages, allowing the house to welcome clients from different countries and cultural backgrounds. According to the dossier, the philosophy is not to impose a particular stereotype or prescribed image on clients, but rather to listen carefully to what each individual is looking for.

That emphasis on listening is central to the CRISONI experience.

Whether a client is looking for an everyday blazer, a formal evening outfit, a wedding ensemble or a completely bespoke creation, the objective is to understand the occasion, the individual and the desired result.

The house's clientele includes private clients as well as corporate and institutional customers. The dossier also identifies Marie and Louis Ducruet among CRISONI's ambassadors.

The CRISONI signature

The aesthetic of the house is deliberately understated.

Its palette includes white, beige, ecru, light grey, light blue, navy and sage green – colours inspired by the Mediterranean environment.

Materials include linen, cotton, silk, wool, cashmere, velvet and genuine leather, while details such as contrasting piping, lapels, buttons and embroidery provide opportunities for individual expression.

Accessories complete the look, ranging from bracelets and pocket squares to bow ties, ties, cufflinks, handkerchiefs, bags, wallets and card holders.

This approach reflects the broader philosophy behind the brand: sophistication does not necessarily need to be loud.

In Monaco, where formal occasions, international business, luxury hospitality and an active social calendar exist side by side, clothing often has to move effortlessly between different worlds.

CRISONI's proposition is precisely that – elegance adapted to the individual and to the occasion.

Made in Monaco

There is also something particularly fitting about the relationship between CRISONI and the Principality.

Andreas Allenbach arrived in Monaco after a long international career, bringing with him the experience of numerous markets while developing a brand rooted firmly in its new home.

The dossier describes Monaco as an important source of inspiration: its Mediterranean atmosphere, its restaurants and terraces, its glamour and its international community, where members of royal families, elite athletes, celebrities and private individuals share the same small corner of the Riviera.

CRISONI seeks to translate that environment into clothing – not through extravagance, but through what the house describes as elegance made in Monaco.

And perhaps that is what makes the brand particularly relevant to life in the Principality.

In a place where appearance can be part of professional life, social life and personal identity, true luxury is not simply about wearing something expensive. It is about wearing something that feels right.

For CRISONI, that begins with listening.

Then comes the fabric, the cut, the craftsmanship and the finishing touch.

And finally, the person.
