Unveiling of a unique F.P.Journe timepiece in support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation

On Monday, 7 September 2026, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation unveiled an exclusive timepiece by the Geneva-based Haute Horlogerie Manufacture F.P.Journe, specially created in support of its work.

Presented by François-Paul Journe, Founder of the Manufacture F.P.Journe, this unique piece – a classic chronograph, the first he has ever created – was revealed at the Monaco Yacht Club, in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, representatives of the Foundation and distinguished guests gathered for the occasion. Through this creation, F.P.Journe wished to place the excellence of Haute Horlogerie at the service of philanthropy, by supporting the Foundation’s work to protect the environment.

Founded by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco in 2006, the Foundation is a global non-profit organization dedicated to advancing planetary health for current and future generations. It co-creates initiatives and supports hundreds of projects around the world. Its key missions include preserving endangered species, protecting freshwater ecosystems, developing a sustainable blue economy, and supporting the younger generations.

“We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to François-Paul Journe and his Manufacture for this exceptional creation, designed in support of the Foundation. This support highlights the importance attached to our commitments and will help strengthen the work we carry out, alongside our partners, to protect the environment,” said Romain Ciarlet, Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.

The watch will be auctioned during the “Voyage Extraordinaire” gala dinner, to be held in Singapore on 25 November 2026 in support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. This event is part of the outreach efforts led by the Foundation’s Singapore branch, chaired by Mrs Jacky Deromedi, and contributes to mobilising supporters and partners in the region.

Founded in 1999, the Manufacture F.P.Journe is built on the values of Authenticity, Rarity and Talent, summarised by the acronym A.R.T. Signed with the label “Invenit et Fecit” (invented and made), its watches recall the importance of an in-house calibre, entirely imagined, built and assembled in the Manufacture’s workshops in Geneva. F.P.Journe produces around 1,000 precision mechanical chronometers per year. Recognised for his innovations and exacting standards of craftsmanship, François-Paul Journe has received numerous international distinctions, including seven awards at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, among them three “Aiguille d’Or”.
