SASS' AlUla

Monaco’s SASS’ returns in AlUla, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

During the previous winter season, SASS’ AlUla made headlines with a four-month pop up restaurant set in the heart of AlUla, a premier destination in the Middle East, trending at the top of many travel addicts’ wish lists.

Embarking on a new chapter amidst the awe-inspiring desert scenery of AlUla, following the pop up editions launched in 2019 and 2023, the Monaco-based restaurant brand is set to enchant SASS’ lovers with another three-month pop-up residency.

SASS’ Café, born in 1993 and named after its founder “Sassa”, is one of the most historical venues in Monaco where you can dine, drink, and dance all night long. Nightlife magnates Salvador Treves “Sassa” and his wife Yolande made together SASS’ Café become a trendy place and a celebrity hotspot, insuring a warm and festive atmosphere every night.

A few years later, in 1997, their son Samy joined the successful family-owned restaurant piano-bar bringing a new breath to this venue and establishing more than ever the reputation of SASS’ as an inescapable entertainment destination in Monaco.

SASS’ is now expanding with SASS’ AlUla, a pop-up restaurant taking place in Saudi Arabia each winter season, and with SASS’ Restaurant & Lounge in Bucharest set to open in 2025.

Set against the stunning backdrop of this UNESCO World Heritage site, SASS’ AlUla welcomes diners for vibrant culinary evenings beneath a starlit sky from mid November through the first week of February, 2025.

Continuing the successful culinary concept of the previous SASS’ AlUla edition, this year’s offerings will
tantalize guests with elaborate menus crafted by our Chef from SASS’ Monaco, featuring the beloved SASS’ Mediterranean classics including an exquisite array of homemade pasta, meats, seafood, and delectable desserts.

During their dining experience, guests will also uncover the flavors of Uruguay through our open fire live-cooking spot, with selected specialties including meats and vegetables meticulously prepared with techniques from ancient pampas and various styles of cooking in high and low temperatures.

The baroque-inspired open air restaurant, designed by the Monaco based G&M Design, echoes the iconic codes of SASS’ Monaco with a color palette ranging from burgundy red, black, gold, on velvet and leather textures. The central lounge, which combines the unique elements of SASS’ AlUla and its partner Jetcraft, offers an ideal setting to relax in a remarkable atmosphere.

Throughout the winter season, guests are invited to capture the magic of SASS’ in the heart of AlUla,
savoring unforgettable festive and gourmet experiences under the desert sky enhanced by a carefully
curated soundscape from our partner Bang & Olufsen, along with lively DJ performances.
