MCFW Rendez-Vous 2026: Monaco Opens Its Autumn Chapter of Fashion

Three days of fashion, fragrance and thought-provoking dialogue mark the first Autumn-Winter edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week

From 14 to 16 October 2026, the Principality of Monaco became a stage for creativity, innovation and sustainability as the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode unveiled the first Autumn-Winter edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week: MCFW Rendez-Vous.

Arriving six months ahead of the next Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (12–16 April 2027), the new edition establishes a second annual appointment in the fashion calendar. Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode, described it as a pivotal step towards a more conscious and responsible industry, one that unites aesthetics, innovation and ethical values.

Wednesday 14 October: Di Iorio Monaco and the world of Xerjoff

The programme opened at 3:00 PM at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, where Di Iorio Monaco inaugurated its first boutique with a cocktail and a presentation to the press. Born from the shared passion of two sisters, Samantha and Alicia, the house draws inspiration from the strong women who have shaped the history of the Principality and presents itself as the first house of exceptional footwear born in the heart of Monaco. The Fairmont boutique is the Maison’s founding address and its original home.

Each pair is made entirely by hand in Italy, in an atelier founded in 1962 where master artisans preserve the traditions of Italian shoemaking. The house’s signature is Calais-Caudry lace, woven on Leavers looms, a centuries-old French heritage that lends each creation a rare and timeless elegance. Di Iorio Monaco operates under the official Monaco Brands licence.

From 4:00 to 6:00 PM, the afternoon moved into the universe of Xerjoff, the Italian perfume house from Turin, which treats every fragrance as a work of art. Guests were invited to an artistic olfactory tour and to the exclusive “Atelier Parfum”, a journey through scent designed as a sensory experience.

Thursday 15 October: a morning of ideas at the Pavillon Bosio

Thursday morning moved to the Pavillon Bosio, home of the École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques, for a series of conferences organised in collaboration with the Monaco Town Hall and moderated by Léa Calori of the Department of Communication of the Government of the Principality.

The programme opened with a “Face to Face” session with Thierry Leviez, Director of the Pavillon Bosio, who previewed his book Théâtres de la Mode, dedicated to fashion scenography from the 19th century to today. The book was also available for purchase, supporting the school’s publications and student initiatives such as study trips.

At 11:00 AM, Runa Ray, fashion environmentalist, designer and expert in sustainable development and the circular economy, took the stage with the conference “Is Fashion Sustainable?”. Collaborating with the United Nations and the Prince Albert II Foundation, she addressed some of the sector’s most pressing challenges: innovation, responsible creativity and global inclusion. It was an engaging and thought-provoking session, and one of the most memorable moments of the week.

On Thursday and Friday, the Italian fashion house Falconeri opened its doors to the public at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, presenting its collections alongside TheRe accessories in a pop-up created by Vera Facchetti Lifestyle. The two days closed on Friday at 5:00 PM with an exclusive aperitivo.

Friday 16 October: Valtoria opens its doors

The week concluded on Friday morning with an exclusive brunch hosted by the Monegasque brand Valtoria, inviting guests into its showroom and atelier to meet designer Gabriela Tarkanyi Maldonado and step into her creative world.

Valtoria is a house of luxury eyewear. Its sunglasses are handcrafted in Japan, where traditional techniques and carefully selected materials are combined, with every stage done by hand. Frames are shaped in titanium, worked over several days with heat and dozens of precision tools, or in premium acetate, carved from a solid block. The lenses are by ZEISS. The brand’s identity is built on the meeting of three cultures, Monaco, Japan and Italy, and on a belief in craftsmanship and attention to detail.

With MCFW Rendez-Vous, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week reaffirms its role as an international hub for contemporary fashion, blending tradition, innovation, sustainability and a global outlook in a setting that is uniquely Monaco.
