Sustainability, innovation and an international outlook defined three days of events in the Principality
With the closing of MCFW Rendez-Vous, from 14 to 16 October 2026, the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode has marked a first milestone: the inaugural autumn edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, which the organisers describe as a resounding success.
For Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of the Chambre, this first chapter is a step towards establishing Monte-Carlo Fashion Week as a biannual appointment, with a spring-summer and an autumn-winter edition six months apart. The aim is to keep championing talents who can make a positive impact on the fashion ecosystem, to support Monegasque designers and to position Monaco as a leading platform for dialogue between fashion, sustainability and innovation.

Monegasque talents in the spotlight
At the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, Di Iorio Monaco inaugurated its first boutique. The luxury footwear house, born in the heart of the Principality, gave guests the chance to meet its young founders, sisters Samantha and Alicia, who had already unveiled their creations last April during Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, in collaboration with the Monegasque brand Beach & Cashmere Monaco.
Valtoria, the Monegasque eyewear brand, opened its showroom and atelier to a select audience of journalists, VIPs and clients. Over an elegant brunch, guests met designer Gabriela Tarkanyi Maldonado and discovered her creative vision.

Conversations on the future of fashion
The conference programme at the Pavillon Bosio was one of the highlights. Léa Calori, Administrator at the Department of Communication of the Government of the Principality, moderated a “Face to Face” with Thierry Leviez, Director of the Pavillon Bosio, who presented a preview of his book Théâtres de la Mode, on fashion scenography from the 19th century to today. American guest speaker Runa Ray, environmental fashion designer and expert in sustainability and the circular economy, who collaborates with the United Nations and the Prince Albert II Foundation, then addressed the key issues shaping the future of the sector.

Sensory experiences and Italian elegance
Xerjoff added a further note of refinement, inviting guests into the olfactory universe of the luxury fragrance house, which treats every creation as a work of art. Meanwhile, the Italian fashion house Falconeri brought its collections to Monte-Carlo, alongside accessories from TheRe, a specialist in pre-loved fashion and circularity, in the pop-up curated by Vera Facchetti Lifestyle at the Fairmont, which also hosted the closing cocktail reception.
The appointment is now set for the fifteenth edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, from 12 to 16 April 2027.
