Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella Celebrate First Holy Communion

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco marked a significant milestone in their spiritual journey by receiving their First Holy Communion.

The sacred ceremony took place at the Chapelle de la Visitation in Monaco-Ville, attended by close family members.

The nine-year-old twins participated in the rite with solemnity and grace, donning traditional white albs symbolizing purity. This event holds particular significance as their father, Prince Albert II, also received his First Communion at the same chapel in 1965.  

The Princely Palace commemorated the occasion by sharing photographs of the young royals alongside their parents, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, expressing heartfelt congratulations to Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella on this important day. 

The ceremony was met with warm wishes from across the Principality, celebrating this special moment in the lives of Monaco’s young heirs.
