SUNSET 2025, A festival spirit on the beach of the Méridien Beach Plaza
Brought to life by Thomas Peeters and Cédric Houdrouge, SUNSET returned from May 23 to 25, 2025, for its 12ᵗʰ edition during the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco, once again standing out as one of the Principality’s most iconic and creative happenings.
Sold out across all three days, this immersive beachside festival combined music, art and gastronomy in a vibrant, sunlit atmosphere. Guests from all over the world gathered to celebrate Monaco’s most high-energy weekend in style. One of the highlights of the daytime experience was La Petite Plage, a bohemian-chic lounge area where guests relaxed on low sofas and poufs, sipped cocktails and enjoyed the chill beats by the water. The Sunset boutique offered a carefully curated selection of limited-edition merchandise and collector items, allowing guests to take home a piece of the Sunset spirit.

Aerial ballet, immersive projections and world-class DJs
SUNSET 2025 pushed the boundaries of performance with new artistic highlights, including a breathtaking aerial dance inside a 15-meter heliosphere, creating a moment of suspended poetry above the crowd. After dark, video projections lit up the façade of the Méridien Beach Plaza, turning the venue into a living, luminous stage. On the music front, international heavyweight DJ Pawsa and French rising stars Parrallele brought magnetic energy to the beach, offering unforgettable sets. A major new feature this year was Casa Sunset, a pop-up Mexican restaurant helmed by Chef Paola Segura. Using ingredients flown in directly from Mexico, she delivered a refined yet authentic culinary experience that captured hearts and palates alike. After dinner, Casa Sunset evolved into an intimate after-hours space, keeping the Sunset energy alive from midnight to 3 AM with a dedicated lineup.

Art, fashion and a spectacular finale
This edition also welcomed the presence of Richard Orlinski, whose monumental sculptures added a powerful artistic signature to the event. In a fashionable nod to Monaco’s creative scene, staff were dressed by Alter Design, the brand founded by Pauline Ducruet, blending sharp silhouettes with effortless beach elegance. To close the three-day celebration, a fireworks display lit up the Mediterranean, offering a breathtaking finale to a weekend that seamlessly blended creativity, emotion and festive energy.
